The fittings may come with a blue snap ring (shaped like a C, used for locking the tube so it doesn't leak)

To connect the standard quick push-in fittings:
(1) Remove the blue snap ring.
(2) Insert tube all the way into the socket.
(3) Lock in the blue C ring

To disconnect the standard quick push-in fittings:
(1) Remove the blue snap ring.
(2) Push in the collet, at the same time, pull out the tube.
