DI water is safe for drinking but the taste may differ for everyone; it is usually used for reef water purpose,
please add one carbon filter after DI when you use it for drinking purpose.
A high ppm indicates that the DI filter has to be replaced.
Our white filters are not refillable, so you will have to replace it with a new one, which will contain more resin than your current filter.
We do sell refillable DI filters in our store, so you can always add more resin inside by yourself.
Or, if you prefer, you can connect a new filter (refillable or disposable) after the first, for better water quality.
