The connector thread is made of metal, instead of plastic. Metal thread is more durable and less likely to leak when connected to your faucet.

The package comes with a piece of sandpaper. Over time, the ceramics inside will change in color. Use the sandpaper to remove the dirty surface for reuse.
The connector is two-way with a lever switch; turning on or off the switch will not affect the outcoming tap water. It's very useful if a second outlet is desired for water output.
